This advent calendar is based on the farming village in Somerset where I was brought up. The Somerset & Dorset railway line used to run through the village until the late 1960s when it was decomissioned. My Mum used to catch this train to school every day; it now the Greenway and Two-Tunnels & cycleway. 
 
This advent comes with a tiny present for door 24 as well as a candy cane. 
 
About our advent calendars ...
 
Our advent calendars are based on scenes local to us. This is our 3rd year of production & our 3rd unique design. The calendar is hand-drawn & painted using inks & watercolours... the original design is replicated & then each & every windows is cut by hand, it is then glued & glittered (also by hand). Only a small number are made each year due to the time involved. We love making them we hope you love them as much as we do.
