Delivery Charges:

Standard Delivery: Royal Mail First Class (usually arriving next working day following dispatch)  £4.50 mainland UK, & Northern Ireland.

We do not deliver outside the UK

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days. We use the Royal Mail Business service. If we are out of stock or the dispatch of your order is likely to be delayed we email you to let you know. At this point we offer a full refund if you are unable to wait.

Many of our products are handmade by small producers or fair trade cooperatives & not in large industrial factories. We believe this is the essence of ethical trading & environmentally friendly products; they are made lovingly with care, are more exclusive &, as a result, sometimes cost a little bit more. Occasionally our handmade products are not immediately available. We promise that we will do everything we can to get your products to you as quickly as possible. We will always email you if there is a problem.

Every order comes with a free bookmark. There are 4 hand drawn designs to collect; butterfly, heart, snail & whale. These bookmarks are printed on recycled card. They can be used as a gift tag & then reused as a bookmark.

Packaging

As an environmentally friendly company, we endeavour to reduce all unnecessary waste from our procedures. Your order will be packed in either recycled or reused packaging. This will only affect the appearance of your parcel & will not compromise the condition of the contents; we ensure your products are suitably protected during transit.  Where possible we avoid packing waste by writing your address on the parcel instead of printing a label. We do not send a paper copy of your despatch note/invoice; this information can be viewed electronically if required. Please email us if you have any queries  taramgold49@gmail.com

The Ethical Kids Returns Procedure

If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, returning goods is easy. Return your item in a resalable condition within 28 days and we will provide an exchange or refund the cost of the item.

Please obtain proof of posting (free from your Post Office) when returning goods as we cannot provide a refund or exchange if we do not receive the original goods.

Faulty items

If you receive an item that is faulty, please email  taramgold49@gmail.com so we can deal with it as a matter or urgency.

Exceptions

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of products that have been personalised (unless the item is faulty).

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. We do not pass your details onto anyone.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We do not store your credit card details. Payments details go directly to the secure WorldPay or Paypal server.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.
